All members recieve the Pop Valve and a Members Handbook when they join the club. The handbook is a useful resource, that contains: a chronological history of the club; the constitution & by-laws; live steam standards; recommended practices for building trackwork; and all sorts of basic information helpful to beginners and veterans alike. Our club newsletter, the Pop Valve, is currently published six times a year and contains news about what is currently going on in the club. This website will be another resource for disseminating information to members.
REGULAR MEMBERSHIP is $85 per year. Regular members have full voting privileges and may hold office. They may run their own equipment on the club's tracks.
REGULAR JOINT MEMBERSHIP is $150 per year. Two Regular members living in the same household.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP is $100 per year. One Regular member, their spouse (Social member status) and children under 18 living in the same household.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP is $25 per year. Social members may attend all club events and work on club projects. They may operate club equipment under the supervision of regular members, but may not operate their own equipment on the club's tracks.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP is $7 per year. Junior membership is available to persons under the age of 18, who are sponsored by an adult member of the club. Operating privileges are granted to junior members on an individual basis depending on their demonstration of maturity.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP is $25 per year. This class of membership is available to regular members of other live steam clubs, who wish to receive the Pop Valve and operate their own equipment at designated club events.
A Name Tag is $10 for all memberships.
