4.75″ Private Car Barn begins
Steve and Paul P begin the process of building a car barn for their collection. Eventually it will be five tracks wide and 36' long. This is the installation of the turnout from the mainline to serve it.

This 5 track turnout is made using a pair of 3 way stub switches. The turnout was designed by Guy W and completed by Ken C.
The Boy Scouts took the project to remove the brickwork of the grade crossing from the parking lot to the station. The crossing used to have a bend in the middle between the tracks. They improved it to a single straight line. This was a better flow for foot traffic and also made it simpler […]
This project was funded by members of the 4.75" gauge users. It holds enough ballast to fill about 12 ballast cars. That's enough for a day's worth of track maintenance. Steve and Paul P provided the design and construction of the hopper.
